History – since 1888

Over 125 years of excellence in pioneering technology

A history of great ideas and innvoation.

Fuchs® – a name synonymous not just with high-quality innovative and outstandingly efficient material handlers, but also with a heritage spanning decades that is characterised by excellence in pioneering technology. As early as in the 1960s, the Fuchs® excavator 301 was one of the biggest-selling and most popular excavators on the market, and in 1975 the company received a patent for the newly developed hydraulic-lift and slewing cab. No wonder, then, that even today the company culture reflects a high degree of innovation.
