If you are planning to use your material handling machine at a fixed location, we recommend opting for a stationary design on a steel or concrete foundation. The bolting that anchors these machines enables them to handle much larger loads than their mobile counterparts. In addition, choosing a stationary machine eliminates the costs involved in having an undercarriage. It is also worth mentioning that one of the many options that the Application Center offers when modifying stationary machines is equipping them with a zero-emission electric motor.

Mobile duo offers flexibility and versatility

  • Service weight: approx. 17 tonnes
  • Operator cab: Cab with stepless hydraulic elevation. It is compliant with all the latest safety regulations and is fi tted with armoured glass, guaranteeing maximum protection for the operator.
  • Projection: The machine is equipped with a straight box boom, 4.7 m in length and with a 3.7 m long dipperstick, giving a total projection of 8.5 m.
  • Mobility: With its changeover frame, the AHL320 can be installed quickly and easily on the lorry, allowing faster transportation.
  • Undercarriage: In standalone mode (detached from the lorry), the machine rests on a 4-point plinth. The hydraulically operated telescopic support with a support area of 4.8 x 4.8 m ensures perfect stability in every direction, even at maximum projection.
  • Attachments: A 9 kW generator unit is available with a choice of 950 mm magnetic plate or Kinshofer P22V-450-5-T clamshell grab with 450 l capacity. For transportation, these can be attached directly to the lorry or the machine.

  • Maritime power: The machine features an operating weight of 44 tonnes and a cranked 22 m loading system.
  • Ship and rail: Both are possible, since the material handling machine can move, rail-mounted, over an entire cargo hold on a gantry.
  • Easy to use: All functions, including those pertaining to the undercarriage, are controlled centrally from the cab.
  • Adaptable: Depending on the material being handled, a clamshell grab with a capacity of 6.0 m3 or a cactus grab can be used.
  • Seaworthy: In order to ensure a maximum level of resistance to corrosion, the machine comes with stainless steel hydraulic lines and is painted throughout with a coating resistant to marine environments.
  • Out of danger: The fact that the cab is rigidly mounted reduces the number of component surfaces that are susceptible to damage caused by sea water.
  • Ideal visibility: The cab is raised by 1.5 meters and offset forward, ensuring that operators always have a perfect view of the ship and a direct line of sight into cargo holds.
  • Safe and accessible: Practical ladder access systems and catwalks make operation, as well as servicing and maintenance, easier regardless of the machine’s position.

    • Motor: The efficient 160 kW, 1500 rpm electric motor ensures minimal running costs and leads to considerable savings in operation as it is particularly easy to maintain.
    • Cab: The operator cab can be raised and extended forwards by up to 2.2 m thanks to a stepless hydraulic system. It offers an optimum view of the work environment via an overall viewing level of 6.1 m. This facilitates safe and rapid working.
    • Projection: The straight boom provides a maximum reach of 18 m.
    • Operating radius: Enormous operating radius of up to 36 m.
    • Undercarriage: It uses the tried and tested MHL360 undercarriage – without a drive unit, hydraulics or axles – but has concrete ballast instead. The undercarriage ensures complete stability even with maximum projection when used in conjunction with the four sturdy outriggers which are fixed to the floor in special shoes with flexible anti-vibration elements.
    • Substructure design: The flexible adjustment options are a special feature of this substructure design. The machine as a whole can be moved to a different operating position with very little effort and without the need to adjust the base or supporting surface. It represents a freestanding solution.
    • Clean and quiet: No exhaust gases, minimum noise and heat production – these are outstanding qualities for use indoors or in the vicinity of residential areas.
