Fuchs welcomed over 300 customers, distributors and team members from around the world to their three-day celebration in Bad Schönborn, Germany from 18–20th October, 2018 to mark their incredible 130th anniversary. Founded by Johannes Fuchs in 1888 as an agricultural machinery and stable equipment manufacturing business, Fuchs has evolved into a specialist material handling company and has established a reputation for innovation and ingenuity.
During the presentations, attendees were also treated to a first look at the new MHL 375—a state-of-the-art industrial materials handler that will be officially launched at Bauma 2019. Florian Bender, Jochen Heidt, Markus Struppler and Claudia Fischer introduced the machine and presented its key features, while the MHL375 dramatically appeared from the back of the tent—the first time anyone in the public had ever seen it. Day three of the celebrations was an exclusive Team Member event to mark the anniversary, where Fuchs Team Members along with their family, friends and the local community enjoyed a fun day of festivities and machine demonstrations.
Dominik Vierkotten, General Manager of Fuchs said, “Our 130th anniversary celebrations was an important event to engage with our dealers and customers, showcase our pioneering products, and celebrate with them. We had a full team of Marketing, Sales, Aftermarket, Technical and Engineering staff on hand throughout the event to ensure its success. A big thank you goes out to the entire Fuchs team who attended this event and put in a lot of effort, working many long days in the build-up and during the event to ensure its success.”
